Margot E. Michalets

Margot E. Michalets went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old.

Margot was born on Oct. 16, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., to parents Edwin and Eileen (nee Mulligan) Reid. 

She was united in marriage with Joseph Michalets on March 25, 1972. Together they had three children. 

Margot loved to play cards, especially bridge, and watching crime and game shows.

Margot is survived by her husband Joseph, children Joseph Jr., Katie and Anthony and grandchildren Marie LaRose, Lillie Mae and Cataleya June. She is further survived by siblings Jim Reid and Sue Orr. 

Margot was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edwin Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church North, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd., Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet visitors from 11 a.m. until the Mass at noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Margot’s family are appreciated. 

Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
