Love for the Flag Day Foundation was in the air

Lepanto Banquet Hall in Port Washington was the place to be on Saturday, Feb. 8, for the National Flag Day Foundation’s annual Valentine Dinner and Auction. Among those attending the fundraiser were (from left in top photo) Dylan and Ashley Peterson and Pam and Allen Carter. Pam Carter and Rosie Westphal (lower right) perused the many silent auction items. The invitation for the event described the recommend attire as business/party, and the ensemble worn by Christophe Jenkins, the Fredonia village administrator and town clerk, was perhaps the best of both, especially for an event hosted by an organization dedicated to the American flag and Flag Day.
