PAID OBITUARY
Lisa Ann Siegel of Cecil passed away peacefully at the home of her parents Roseanne and Tom Watry on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the age of 46 after a 15-year battle with Huntington’s disease.
Lisa was born on June 6, 1971, in Port Washington to Roseanne and the late Joseph Schanen.
Lisa graduated from Random Lake High School and later worked various jobs.
She liked watching the Green Bay Packers and movies. Lisa enjoyed playing sheepshead and taking long walks. She was free spirited and fun loving and will be sadly missed by her family, friends and caregivers.
Lisa is survived by her mother Roseanne (Thomas) Watry, brother William (Mary Jo) Schanen and nephew and niece Joseph and Jennifer Schanen.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Schanen and brother Steven Schanen.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Congregation, St Nicholas Chapel-Dacada, W4274 Hwy. K, Random Lake, with Father Richard Cerpich presiding.
Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
Interment will be held immediately following the service at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Huntington's Disease Society of America Wisconsin Chapter, 326 Marshall Ave., South Milwaukee, WI 53172.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lisa’s caregivers Mary, Hamby, Ashley, Katie, Lonnie and special friend Kelly.
