Lions seeks donations to buy summer camp vehicle
The Fredonia Lions Club is accepting donations to help buy a utility terrain vehicle for the Lions Club Summer Camp.
The fundraiser, which kicked off on #GivingTuesday, Dec. 1, seeks to raise $9,000, with the goal of raising half that amount this week, organizers said.
Wisconsin Lions Camp, which is in Portage County, benefits children and adults who are visually impaired, hard of hearing, have diabetes, epilepsy or are otherwise disabled.
Donations can be made online at the club’s Facebook page or at wlf.info/donate. Under “Designation,” select Giving Tuesday - Gator fund in the drop-down menu.
