LETTER: Young Americans workshop

To Ozaukee Press:
    Thank you to all the parents who sent their kids to the Young Americans
workshop in Port Washington. This program helps to support the strong music programs in Port Washington schools.
        Young Americans is a performing arts
college that gives their students the opportunity to teach music, dancing and
acting and the importance of being yourself to children across the world. More than 150 boys and girls ages 8 to 18 attended the Port Washington workshop.
    The Young Americans members taught the Port Washington attendees how to perform a part of their show. The workshop ran for five days, each having a six-hour rehearsal, except the last day when the Young Americans and the kids performed the show twice.
    Even though it was very hot in the gym, everyone had a blast.
