LETTER: Wisconsin’s natural beauty on glorious display along bike trail

To Ozaukee Press:

Sunday afternoon I took a walk south on Port Washington’s bike trail: Hales Trail to Jackson Street. Nothing prepared me for the incredible beauty experienced every step of the way.

Right now, wild purple and white phlox are in full bloom, up the hillsides, down the banks to the creek bed, all along the walkway.

Don’t delay. Take a walk and enjoy this fabulous outdoor gift we have been given. We are so blessed in Wisconsin to be surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty.
