LETTER: Trump set the tone for boos he heard at the World Series

To Ozaukee Press:

I was not surprised that our president had to listen to boos and hear the crowd chant “lock him up” at the recent World Series baseball game. After all, didn’t he start and hasn’t he perpetuated this kind of vulgarity in his shameful politics? Name calling, denigration and insults have become the Trump norm and are often cheered enthusiastically by his sycophant followers.

As much as I hate to see this happen in our country, it’s pretty easy to see why.  My mother, a Lesch from Holy Cross, would have simply said, “You get what you deserve.”
