LETTER: Trump echoes Obama’s words in decrying illegal immigrants

To Ozaukee Press:

Trump is not racist and neither are his supporters. He is a patriot. He wants to secure our border to keep us safe.

Guess what? Obama said the exact same thing back in 2014 about how you cannot come here illegally. He also sent many people back and he also had “cages” separating families. I didn’t hear any Dems calling him a racist.

Trump has created jobs for many that couldn’t find work with Obama in charge. Minorities are finding good-paying jobs so they can take care of their families and feel good about it. Guess you don’t like that if you’re a liberal.  

What have the Dems done over the last 50 years for minorities except give them false promises. I would call that racist.  Speaking of racism, it was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, who went to war to free the slaves.

Didn’t Bill Clinton have sex in the Oval Office with a young intern? He also was accused of rape (since he is a Democrat, he got away with it) and there were many sexual harassment charges that were just swept under the carpet. The Democrats said it didn’t matter because it didn’t interfere with his governing the country. He was impeached, but not really because he still remained in office.

Trump was a playboy and did do things I do not agree with, but he didn’t do them while in office. Remember, he is not a politician and did not hold office until his presidency, so of course he has baggage. He is not perfect for sure, but he does love this country and is doing a great job.
