LETTER: Support for firefighter in need

To Ozaukee Press:

Recently the officers of the Fredonia Fire department held a brat fry fundraiser to support one of our members, Bob, who is having medical and financial difficulties.

On behalf of the FFD family, thank you to all who made our event an incredible success. This includes several local fire departments, the Ozaukee County Sheriffs Office, Fredonia marshal, many local businesses, farm community, spouses and so many individuals. Fortunately, the list is too long to detail here.

We set records in the amount of brats and burgers sold and total donations received. Because of all the help we received, a substantial donation will be going to Bob.
