LETTER: Relaxed regulation leaves some homes without phone service
To Ozaukee Press:
Unknown to Wisconsin taxpayers, former Gov. Walker and his Republican cronies have solved a big problem—no more junk telephone calls.
Before he left office, Walker took away all regulation of telephone service providers.
They no longer have to answer service calls or do anything but take customer money for service they don’t provide.
We’ve been without Frontier phone service for five weeks.
All Frontier gives is no service and lies about when they will restore service.
Well, we don’t get junk phone calls either.
Call the Wisconsin Public Service Commission.
They will confirm that they can do nothing about wi-fi, TV or telephone service in Wisconsin, thanks to Walker.
