LETTER: Parents, students: Schools closed but teachers are still here for you

To Ozaukee Press:

Last week, we learned that we would not be returning to our classrooms to finish out the school year. This was hard information for members throughout our community to come to terms with and it seems appropriate to offer some reassurance during this trying time.

To the parents of children attending school in Port Washington: Know that if you need any assistance from your child’s teacher, we are here to help. Please just let us know what we can do for you.

To all of our students: Understand that while the way we teach and the way you learn may have changed, our commitment to you has not. We look forward to the day when we can return, together, to our schools. We miss you!

Until then, we wish everyone in the Port Washington-Saukville community good health.
