LETTER: Nothing U.S. does matters if it ignores the suffering children
To Ozaukee Press:
Without going into a litany of the stories about the sad condition of a portion of the children in our country, the question screams out to us—“What are we thinking?”
How can we let these situations continue? The needs of all children cry out to us to stop at least the most egregious situations impacting little children.
There is nothing we can do to make treaties, lower taxes, fight wars, fix roads or improve lives generally that really matters if we do not take care of little children in our country and around the world.
