LETTER: It’s Trump’s GOP sycophants who act like ‘trained chimps’

To Ozaukee Press:

This is a response to Timothy Landing’s letter to the editor, “Public school indoctrination is leading youth to socialism,” published in last week’s Ozaukee Press.

The letter decrying socialism said it is “often marked by political oppression, economic failure and poverty.” And that “these failures are created by excessive state control, authoritarianism, lack of

innovation and suppression of individual freedom.”

It seems to me that the letter is describing the current state of affairs under the conservative Republican administration.

  Most if not all of today’s Republican leaders, to use the words Mr. Landing applied to Democrats, “fall in line with this insanity like trained chimps and not one of them has the stones to stand opposed.”
