LETTER: His success at CESA is a sign of Neitzke’s mayor qualifications

Last week I saw an announcement by the Gallup organization that CESA 6, the education organization led by Ted Neitzke, was named one of the top 39 Global Workplace Award winners.

I have worked for a Fortune 100 employer for most of my career and we, like thousands of other global employers, used the Gallup tools to benchmark and improve employee engagement. In the video Gallup released with the announcement, they describe the award as one that “celebrates clients who incorporate employee engagement into the bedrock of how they do their work, motivate their teams and achieve business outcomes.”

 I have heard Ted talk a lot about being strategic, building coalitions, defining the future and listening to the needs of the community. Those are the qualities Port Washington deserves in a leader. I encourage you to vote for Neitzke for mayor.
