LETTER: Grafton Town Board needs a smart, refreshing new voice

To Ozaukee Press:

The Town of Grafton will be well served with a new voice on the Town Board. The two incumbents have been in office a very long time. Times and situations change and I believe there should be term limits as well as new voices.

Dan Vogel has most recently served on the town Plan Commission and before that on the Open Space Commission. He is not new to the town but does have a lot of energy and a fresh vision.

Dan has been serving on the Ozaukee County Board, where he was the driving force behind the improved railroad crossing on Highway 60, in addition to getting the stoplights up and going at the intersection of Falls Road and Port Washington Road, which really helped those of us driving from the east going into Grafton.

I like that he approaches things with common sense and goes out of his way to get input from as many residents as possible. He is well liked and well respected. I like that he is not in the real estate business and that he truly loves and appreciates our natural resources. This is super important for an area that is gifted with incredible natural resources and is working to keep them protected.

Dan has incredible energy and is willing to work hard. So let’s refresh our

Town Board with a very smart and committed candidate.
