LETTER: ‘Crazy chicken’-like Democrats keep leveling hollow accusations

To Ozaukee Press:

We all remember the crazy chicken who kept saying, “The sky is falling. The sky is falling.”  People eventually ignored him.

This is what the current Washington Democrats remind me of with their changing mantras against President Donald Trump.  One accusation after another has not been supported by the facts and has fallen flat.  When that happens, Democrats conjure up another attack and hype it to grab headlines. The cooperating media repeats it ad nauseam. This reminds me of Hitler’s quote that if you repeat a lie often enough, some people will believe it. Now an    unknown person repeating “hearsay” is the latest crazy chicken story.

When I ask my acquaintances if they believe the headlines, they all emphatically say no. But they agree the torment the Democrats are inflicting on the Trump family is inexcusable and sad for our republic.

These citizens despise the so called “deep state” and are disappointed in the lack of support from some prominent representatives.  We, “the deplorables of the heartland,” are looking forward to the 2020 election.
