Ozaukee High School junior Jack Lentz did more than win two field events at the Big East Conference Meet on May 18.

Lentz’s throw of 162 feet, 4 inches in the discus broke the conference and school records.

The previous school record was 157-7 by Keegan Richards in 2015.

The conference record was 159-2 by Finnegan Shields of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah in 2019.

Lentz also won the shot put with a throw of 50-8.

Lentz was named the Boys Field Athlete of the Meet.

It’s the second straight year a Warrior received the honor. Peyton Mueller, who excelled in all three jumping events, received the recognition last year.
