Legion offering Dorr scholarship again

The Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 in Belgium is offering a $1,500 Robert H. Dorr Medical Scholarship.

Village residents or children or grandchildren of living or dead members of the post may apply. They must be enrolled in medical school, including pre-med studies, nursing or other medical fields, and have completed three semesters of college by Jan. 1.
