Legion Corn Roast, Wheels Show is Sunday

The 68th annual Melvin Wester American Legion Post 412 Corn Roast will include a Wheels Show on Sunday, Aug. 24.

The event kicks off at noon with the sale of food and beverages at Community Park. A car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show will be held on the baseball diamond, and children’s games will be available on the east side of the shelter.

Entries to the Wheels Show cost $10 per vehicle. The first 75 receive a commemorative dash plaque. Awards voted on by Legion Post members include favorite car, truck, motorcycle and tractor and best of show.

The bar closes at 5 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the Melvin Wester American Legion Post.
