Landt-Thiel post to hold flag retirement ceremony Oct. 4

The Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470 in Saukville will hold a flag-retirement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the post, 601 W. Dekora St., Saukville.

The purpose of the ceremony is to honorably retire American flags that have become worn and tattered.  

The post is  accepting flags for disposal. For more information on doing so, call the post at 284-2787.

The ceremony is open to the public.
