Lady Lightkeeper to be discussed Oct. 22

“Lady Lighthouse Keeper: The Extraordinary Life and Times of Georgia Green Stebbins” will be presented Wednesday, Oct. 22, during the Port Washington Historical Society’s annual meeting.

Stebbins came to the North Point Lighthouse in Milwaukee in the mid-1800s and later became its keeper. Her story will be told by Barb and Ken Wardius.

The meeting will be held at Edison Hall in Inventors BrewPub. 

A 30-minute business meeting for society members only, which will include a vote on candidates for the society’s board of directors, will precede the 7 p.m. presentation.
