Kenneth R. ‘Ken’ Knippel

Kenneth R. “Ken” Klippel, age 72, formerly of Saukville and Marinette County, Wis., passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at Village Pointe Commons in Grafton, Wis., where he had recently resided.

He was born on June 29, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wis. Ken grew up in Grafton, the son of Earl and Shirley Sonneman Klippel.

Over the years, Ken worked for the former FMC Corp. as a tool grinder and later for more than 30 years for Milwaukee Gear Corp., now Regal Beloit Corp. of Grafton.

Ken was an avid sports fan and loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and golf were among his favorite pastimes, especially in his retirement up north. He appreciated being out with family and friends and had bowled on many teams over the years.

He is survived by his children Kurt (Stephanie) Klippel of Grafton and Kelly (Tom) Stecker of Waldo; grandchildren Hunter, Hayden and Tyler; his sister Laura Bloedorn; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Kim Klippel and dear friend Dick Doucette.

No funeral services will be held.
