Kenneth Behan

Kenneth M. Behan, 80, of Port Washington and formerly of Mequon, died of cancer Thursday, Sept. 20, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.  

Mr. Behan was born in Milwaukee on April 24, 1938, to Paul and Violet Grudzinski Behan.

In 1965, he married Nancy Kruger at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wauwatosa.

Mr. Behan was a television producer and director for Channel 6 in Milwaukee and later for Schlitz Broadcasting Co., where he produced televised games for the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette University basketball teams. Upon retirement, he went into real estate.  

His family said Mr. Behan was proud of his children and grandchildren and his relationship with his wife.  

Mr. Behan is survived by his wife Nancy of Port Washington; children Jeff (Laura Brenner) of Wadsworth, Ill., and Mike (Patricia) of Trempealeau; and grandchildren Greta, Emma and Ben Behan.

He was preceded in death by his son Christopher.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church, in Port Washington.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society are suggested.

Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
