Karen Ann Spaulding

Karen Ann Spaulding, age 66, passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024.
She was born Nov. 20, 1957, in Milwaukee to Thomas and Patricia (Milczarski) Shaw.
She graduated from Bay View High School, Milwaukee, and received her associate’s degree in accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
She married Jerry Spaulding on March 20, 1986, in Milwaukee.
She worked at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Random Lake School District.
Karen lived life to the fullest. She loved helping others and brought joy into every room she found herself in. She was a social butterfly who had a talent for making everyone feel welcome, whether she had known them for five minutes or 50 years. Karen had many dear friends and hobbies.
But Karen’s greatest passion was her family, who she loved beyond words. Karen was a doting mother, grammie, wife, daughter and sister. She enjoyed traveling and being active, but was just as happy spending a quiet day with family and friends enjoying a pizza, watching the Packers or taking a Sunday drive with Jerry to visit friends and local restaurants.
She is survived by her mother Patricia; husband Jerry; daughter Rachel Spaulding and husband Jim Finiak; son Mitchel Spaulding and wife Alicia Spaulding; stepdaughter Aiyanna; grandchildren Orion, Devon, Preston, Levi, Betsy and Camille; sister Judy Mueller and husband Richard Mueller; brothers and sisters-in law Richard, Tom, Kathy and Mary; aunts; uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family, friends and others whose lives Karen touched are invited to Suchon Funeral Home, 1317 WI-67, Plymouth, Wis., on Nov. 9, 2024. A memorial service to be held from noon to 1 p.m., followed by visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. We hope you join us to celebrate the life and legacy of a truly beautiful person.
