Joseph W. Buczek

Joseph W. Buczek, age 81, of Port Washington, passed away at the Cedar Grove Gardens care facility where he had resided for the last three months.
Joe was born on Aug. 25, 1940, to the late Joseph (senior) and Julia Buczek.
He graduated from Port Washington High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy.
On Nov. 10, 1962, Joe was united in marriage to Barbara Pietryga.
The couple raised their three children in Port Washington where Joe was employed at Bolens until the Port Washington plant closed, as well as several other part-time jobs over the years.
Joe was also a volunteer fire fighter with the Port Washington Fire Department in his younger days.
Joe is survived by his wife Barbara and his sons Joseph (Suzanne) of Port Washington, Jeffery (Noreen) of Forestville and James (Tracy) of Grafton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, JJ, Brittany, Jordan, Holly and Eli, as well as three great-grandsons, nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws John and Irene Pietryga and his grandson Tyler Buczek.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral services held.
Eernisse Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
