John Lanser

PAID OBITUARY

John S. Lanser passed away peacefully at  home in Nipomo, Calif., on Wednesday, Sept. 19. He was 83.

Mr. Lanser was born in Port Washington on June 30, 1935. He graduated from Port Washington High School.

He is survived by his loving wife Mildred and their children Nick, Randy, Danny, Wendy, and Cindy. 

He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother and uncle. He is fondly remembered as a kind, fun-loving, funny and big-hearted man.  

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years and worked as a school psychologist after his career-military retirement.  

We will miss him.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a vigil at 7 p.m. and funeral services on Friday, Sept, 28, at 1 p.m. at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in Los

Osos, Calif. The family kindly requests RSVPs to john.s.lanser@gmail.com.
