John F. Hauswirth

John Fredrick Hauswirth, our “Jack,” peacefully passed into eternal life on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, in Grafton, Wis.

Jack was lovingly married for over 50 years to the late Marcia Audrae Hauswirth, who preceded him in death in 2009.

He is survived by his children Kelly (John) Seaman, Brett Hauswirth and Ross (Vicki Leroy) Hauswirth.

He was blessed with four grandchildren, John (Lauren) Seaman, Jessica (Matthew) Bandelier, Calie Hauswirth and Sonja Hauswirth. Jack enjoyed his great-grandchildren  Grady Bandelier and Juno Seaman.

Jack was cherished by many friends and family members in his 90 years of life with us. His green thumb, love for desserts and his dogs, fashionable style, talent for amazing Christmas decorations, an active exercise schedule and passion for golf and tennis as well as travels to Clark Lake, Cancun, Naples and Sanibel Island will be cherished memories by all. His caring and gentle nature brought satisfaction and overwhelming joy to all who spent time with him.

Jack worked most of his career at Tecumseh Products in Grafton, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for several years.

Our family wants to thank Dickson Hollow, Linden Grove, Village Pointe Commons and Allay Hospice for the care given to Jack over the last year.

Based on Jack’s love of the outdoors and his longtime commitment to Christpond Retreat Center, a private memorial service with immediate family will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020.

In spring of 2021, friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life at Christpond.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Christpond Retreat Center, N1599 Hwy. 57 Random Lake, WI 53075 or the Wisconsin Parkinson Association, 16655 W. Bluemound Rd., Brookfield, WI 53005.
