After he was honorably discharged, he married Rose Heinen on Nov. 15, 1969, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
John was the owner of Dealer Product Services, IMS and Future Automotive for many years until his retirement in 2022. After retirement, John was a Lyft driver until just prior to his death. He truly enjoyed the customers he served throughout his career.
John was a member of the Fredonia American Legion and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an active member of Portview Church. He had a generous heart and gave of himself unselfishly.
John’s favorite holiday was Christmas. He loved to spoil his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He had a passion for fishing, golfing, hunting and especially scuba diving. His diving adventures took him to many places around the world to explore the depths. One of his favorite dives was the Blue Hole in Belize.
