It’s a Christmas toy giveaway in Ozaukee County

December 23, 2025

The Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department‘s Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, in partnership with United Way and Kapco Kids2Kids, made some children’s Christmas a lot brighter last week at the Ozaukee County Administration Center by distributing toys collected by Kapco. Helping distribute toys were (left photo) Washington Ozaukee Public Health Nurse Emily Jacoby and (photo at right, left to right) WIC nutritionists Amanda Mandl and Alexx Arellano. “This year we were able to help bring the magic of Christmas to 82 families with 181 children at our site. This is one of our department’s favorite days of the year,” Washington Ozaukee Public Health Director Kim Buechler said.        Photos by Sam Arendt
