Hawthorne Birds Golf League is looking for members

The Hawthorne Birds Golf League is a fun league looking for ladies who love to play 18 holes.

It is a Wisconsin State Golf Association-handicapped league that plays Thursdays at Hawthorne Hills Golf Course

Ozaukee county cards, available at Hawthorne Hills, provide discounted rates on golf and carts. 

The league starts at 9 a.m. May 5. Tee times in June through September start at 8:20 a.m.

Events to win money will be held every Thursday.

The league doesn’t require a certain amount of days members must play, and friends are always welcome.

The last day is Sept. 29 with a luncheon and prizes.
