Members of the Port/Grafton girls’ high school flag football team were among players from across the country honored at the NFL Draft in Green Bay last weekend. Each group posed with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. From left were Grafton’s Leah Viesselmann, Sophia Goetz, Molly Biggins, Goodell, Abby Gibson, Sophie Schumaker and Port’s Brooklyn Loose. “It was great just to witness the grandeur and energy at the event. The Packers and NFL really treated us well and put on a great event,” flag football coach Dale Larson said. “Roger was very nice and took dozens of photos with all the kids from the youth programs, including our team. I am just glad our players took the time to travel up there and be a part of advancing flag football across Wisconsin and the nation.”
