Halloween fun abounds in Belgium

Cedar Grove-Belgium High School’s Student Council is holding its annual haunted trail on Monday, Oct. 27.

From 6:30 to 9 p.m., people may walk on the cross country trail at the high school and experience thrills, chills and spooky fun.

Baked goods will be available for free-will donations.

Admission is a nonperishable food item that will go to the Cedar Grove Food Pantry.

Erie Street Cemetery still open

Rick Peszko and Rhonda Bell-Peszko’s Erie Street Cemetery at 281 N. Middle Rd. is open for the next two weekends.

Hours for the Halloween attraction are 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 26; 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26; and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.

Proceeds and donations are being given to the Ozaukee Food Alliance, Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge organization that helps homeless people and the Belgium Fire Department.

Barn hosts Halloween party

Buechler Farms’ Boo! at the Barn will be held Saturday, Oct. 25.

The adult-only event runs in the heated barn from 7:30 to 11 p.m. and includes classic and current rock and country songs performed by the band UnXpected, snacks and a prize for the best costume. Halloween attire is encouraged but not required.

Admission is free from 7 to 7:30 p.m. and $10 at the door after 7:30.

Buechler Farms is at 587 S. Royal Ave.

Trick or treat is Sunday

The annual candy crusade in the Village of Belgium will take place this weekend.

Trick or treat will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.

Participating homes are asked to turn on outside lights. Trick-or-treaters are asked to avoid homes without their lights on.
