Grafton to mark Vets Day with parade, ceremony
Veterans Day in Grafton will involve a variety of school programs as well as a parade and ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The Rose-Harms American Legion Post will present a 9 a.m. program at the Grafton High School auditorium.
Post members will then gather at their hall, where at 10:30 a.m. a parade will travel from the hall on 13th Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park.
A ceremony will be held at the park that will include a gun salute, flag presentation and comments by Post Commander Gary Gilstrap.
