Grafton Lions, high school holding events

The Grafton Lions will hold their annual five-kilometer run on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The run/two-mile walk starts and ends at Centennial Park. The course goes out and back on 17th Street.

Proceeds support the club and its community activities.

The cost for the run/walk is $37.50 through Friday, Aug. 7. Prices increase after that.

Corn Roast is Aug. 23

The annual Grafton Athletic Booster Club Corn Roast will be held next month.

Centennial Park will host this year’s event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Black Hawks’ athletic teams will have booths with food, treats and activities. The Grafton cheer team will perform, and the youth kickball tournament will again be held.
