Gangsters are subject of April 24 program

The Grafton Historical Society will host a “Gangsters in Wisconsin” program at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, at the Rose-Harms American Legion Post.

Chad Lewis, a researcher and lecturer, will present stories of Wisconsin’s role as a gangster hangout during the Prohibition Era.

The event, which is sponsored by Bank Five Nine, is free and open to the public. There will be refreshments and a cash bar.

The legion post is at 1540 13th Avenue.
