Gallery to host new exhibit
The Old Town Hall Studio and Gallery in Belgium will hold an opening reception for “Finding Faridi” from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The exhibit is a multimedia production documenting the life of Faridi McFree, who worked as executive secretary for the William Morris Agency and got to know Joan Crawford, Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke, made home movies at Woodstock, N.Y., did interior design work for celebrities and had a romantic relationship with Bob Dylan. She died in 2009. Cinematographer Phil Nohl found a storage unit with McFree’s art and documents and created the exhibit.
Masks are optional.
A closing reception will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16.
The gallery is at 814 Main St.
