GALA summer concerts to begin this week at park

Grafton Area Live Arts, Inc. will begin its 2019 summer concert series Thursday, July 11, at Veterans Memorial Park along the Milwaukee River.

The outdoor series will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 22.

The concerts include: July 11, Road Crew; July 18, The SenSations; July 25, King Solomon; Aug. 1, Crossfire; Aug. 8, Lovin’ Kind; Aug. 15, Up All Night; Aug. 22, The Cheap Shots.

Attendees are asked to not bring food or beverages to the shows because the Grafton Lions Club will sell popcorn, soda, water and beer along with food from John’s Pizzaria of Grafton.

Patrons are also asked to not bring dogs to the park due to village ordinances.

This is the 18th year of the GALA concert series.

The presenting sponsor this year is the Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce.
