Freezer meal workshop is Oct. 23 in Grafton

The Grafton Senior Center is hosting a freezer meal workshop at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23.

Kristy Markeland will lead the one-hour class at the center and teach how to make meals of four to six servings.

Freezer bags, labels and recipes will be provided. Vegetables and canned goods will be washed and cut.

Participants will use their own proteins and any other ingredients.

Recipes for ranch chicken chili, taco soup, Cabos lime chicken and sweet and tangy street tacos will be taught.

The cost is $55 per person. Advance registration is required and may be done at https://graftonrecreation.village.grafton.wi.us or by calling the department at (262) 375-5310.
