Fredonia Lions honor Students of the Year

The Fredonia Lions Club honored the winners of its Outstanding High School Student of the Year awards during a Jan. 22 meeting at 5 Pillars Supper Club. Posing with Lions Club members Jerry Shoemaker (left) and Frank Peterson (right) were Students of the Year (from left) Otto Utecht, Tessa Thomas and Ieva Juodeikis from Ozaukee High School in Fredonia and Caroline Grube from Random Lake High School. The students were chosen by administrators and teachers at their schools based on academic achievement, the activities they participate in, their character and the work they do at their schools and in their communities.
