Showing a little love for the flag on Valentine’s Day

A crowd of people showed a little love to the Waubeka-based National Flag Day Foundation by attending its annual Valentine Dinner and Auction on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Lepanto Banquet Hall in Port Washington. Foundation President David Janik led the program. Terri Schueller, Pat Weidert and Christine Clark perused silent auction items. A Scout color guard was led by Jake Kieckhafer. Fredonia Town Clerk and Village Administrator Christophe Jenkins, who sported a constitutional tie, and his wife Leann were well dressed for the occasion.   Photos by Sam Arendt
