A first-day hike will be held at Harrington Beach State Park on Thursday, Jan. 1.

A guided hike will be held at noon, with hikers meeting at the Ansay Welcome Center parking lot.

Refreshments, including hot chocolate and snacks, will be served by a campfire behind the Welcome Center from noon to 2 p.m.

While the hike is free, a state park sticker or admission fee is required.

The hike is presented by the Friends of Harrington Beach State Park and the Harrington Beach Hikers Meetup Group.
