Fire prevention starts young

The Belgium Fire Department held an open house Oct. 4 as part of Fire Prevention Week. Left, Chris Schmidt helped Lukas Schmidt operate a hose and Olivia Savatski, 10, (above) got some assistance putting on firefighting gear from Captain Greg Anzia.
