Fire departments receive We Energies grants for equipment
Five area fire departments received grants from the We Energies Foundation to purchase needed safety equipment.
The foundation presented $150,000 in awards to almost 80 emergency response agencies this year.
The Belgium and City of Port Washington fire departments received funding for multi-gas detectors.
The Cedar Grove Fire Department received funding for a BlitzFire portable monitor.
The Ozaukee Central Fire Department received money for safety cones.
The Waubeka Fire Department received funding for fire hoods.
