Fire department study to be presented Wednesday

The Milwaukee-based Public Policy Forum will present its study of Ozaukee County’s nine fire departments to the town and village of Belgium at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14.

The study examined call volumes, budgets, staffing and other factors as a shortage of paramedics and other emergency medical staff has become a serious challenge and the cost of vehicles and equipment has skyrocketed.

People may attend the meeting at Village Hall or watch it online through a link on the calendar of the village website, www.village.belgium.wi.us
