Fire department to hold annual gun raffle Oct. 11

A drawing for the Fredonia Fire Department’s annual gun raffle will be held during the department’s open house Sunday, Oct. 11.

Items to be auctioned include a Browning Silver Field Camo 12-gauge valued at $1,160; a Winchester XPR 308 Win and scope combo valued at $710; a M&P Shield 2.0 9mm valued at $569; a M&P 15-22 Sport AR 22LR valued at $449; and a Barnett Whitetail Hunter STR Crossbow package valued at $450.

Tickets are $10 each, three for $20 or five for $30 and can be purchased from fire department members. Only 1,000 tickets will be sold.

The drawing will take place at noon during the open house at the fire station, 201 S. Milwaukee St. Winners do not have to be present.

The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include demonstrations of equipment.
