Egg hunt held outside

Warm and sunny weather meant the annual free Easter egg hunt could be held at Heritage Park in Belgium last Saturday. The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the event for children 10 and younger and provided prizes for each age group. About 250 people attended, and all 2,300 eggs were scooped up. Divine Savior Catholic School provided a craft for children to make, Belgium Community Church gave free coffee for parents and samples of the new Farin’ UP brownies and chocolate chip cookies from Luxemburg were available and are now sold at the Luxembourg American Cultural Center. Posing with the star of the day were Kieran Williams, 9, and his sister Megan, 6. Evan Rammel donned the Easter Bunny costume. Photo courtesy of Tara Williams
