Eerie Street Cemetery returns

Eerie Street Cemetery haunted house in Belgium has returned. The house at 281 N. Middle Rd. will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 24 and 31, and Friday, Oct. 30; and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. Admission is a cash or nonperishable food donation to Ozaukee Food Alliance or an item for Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge. Items in need include men’s and women’s jeans, men’s, women’s and children’s winter coats, laundered bedding, bath towels and backpacks for adults. Cash donations for the Austin Ryan recovery fund will also be accepted. Rachel Lischka (top photo) hung onto her husband Bradley as they went through the house. Above, Greyson Schultz and Clara Peszko, both 5, stood ready to entertain guests. Chris Peszko and his family began decorating their yard and drawing visitors more than a decade ago, then decided to use it as a way to raise money and donations for charities. Photos by Sam Arendt
