Edward T. Walish

On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Edward T. Walish, the loving husband and father of two children, passed away at age 49.

Edward was born on April 20, 1971, in Port Washington, Wis., to Thomas and Barbara (Kohl) Walish.

On April 19, 2002, he married Amy (Bingen) Walish. They raised two children, Hannah and Nathan.

He was employed at Great Lakes Cheese in Plymouth, Wis. Prior to Great Lakes Cheese, he worked at Simplicity Manufacturing in Port Washington.  

Edward had a passion for life, his family, his friends and being up north. Edward loved to be able to help anyone that needed help. He was known for his goofiness and always had a smile to give.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother Barbara.

He is survived by his wife Amy; his two children, Hannah and Nathan; his father Thomas; his sisters Sandy (Rich) Sanders, Sharon (Joe) Volkmann and Susan (Troy) Murphy; his brother Michael; several cousins; nieces; and nephews.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 17, at 4  p.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium.  

A time of gathering will take place at the funeral home after the service from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
