Earth Day program to be held at Port church

A faith-based Earth Day talk will be held Sunday, April 21, at Christ the King church in Port Washington.

The talk, which will follow the 8:30 a.m. worship service, will be led by congregation member Josh Schlicht, who will share ideas on how to become better stewards of God’s creation.

Schlicht is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he majored in wildlife ecology and biology.

In his work for the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust’s stewardship department, Schlicht helps manage and enhance preserves for native wildlife and plant communities.

The church is at 420 W. Whitefish Rd.
