Drive-up food drive set for June 13 at Port church
A drive-up drive for the Port Washington Food Pantry will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 13, at Grand Avenue Methodist Church in Port.
Among the items most needed are canned vegetables, fruit cups, canned meats such as tuna, chicken and hash, pasta, spaghetti sauce, refried beans, taco shells, boxed dinners, dinners for one, cereal, popcorn, peanut butter, jelly and jam, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, toothpaste and dish soap.
Donors should place non-perishable food and essential donations in bags and put them in their trunk or hatchback.
At the church parking, people with gloves and masks will remove the bags from the vehicles.
The church is at 505 W. Grand Ave.
